Barren River Lake conditions

Anyone been to Barren latley? Was wondering what the water conditions are? Clarity? Temp.? Level?

Was out on Saturday and the water is muddy and lots of debris since they are holding water now.

Level is about 540, 12ft below summer pool currently. Sunday the water was very muddy but the water was clearing and fishable in the upper fourth of the main lake. Temp ran between 45 and 47 but with these snow run offs it may have dropped a little.

That's funny to think about. I think about this time last year it was 80 degrees outside and the water temp was pushing 70 degrees if I remember correctly. We were catching 10-15 keeper bass a day......man I'm ready for warmer temps.

The next few days of warming should pull some big ones up from the deep to warm a little and it's going to pull me to rough to see if i'm right
