30 for 30 Jimmy V and the NC State team

I am just wondering who has watched the 30 for 30 show on Jimmy V and the NC State team. I am sure it is a re-run but I just watched it for the first time. That has to be one of the best "documentary" shows that I have ever watched. If you haven't seen it do your self a favor and watch it. I dont remember that tourney because I was only about 6 months old and I had no idea about how the whole tourney went down. They basically won every game on a last second shot or close to it. And some of the speeches he gave would make anybody want to go play and win. We really need more coaches like him in not just basketball but all sports.

1983, Derrick Whittenberg to -------- Lowe ( forgot his first name) to beat Hakeem Olajuwan, Clyde The Glyde Drexler and the rest of Psi Slamma Jamma for the title. I remember it for that shot, Jimmy V trying to find somebody to hug and Louisville, Indiana and Kentucky all in the same regional bracket seeded 1-2-3. Kentucky beat IU in the Sweet 16 then got beat pretty good by Louisville for a trip to the Final Four 80-68

Yes loved it! The 30 for 30 shows are Fantastic! This one was amazing, informative and sad but the others leave you amazed at the quality as well. Good stuff!!

plus if you have amazon Prime you can watch them for free....well it's just included in the annual fee. One of the best deals out there.

I've watched it twice and it is great. It was actually Whittenburg to Lorenzo Charles, though.

I stand corrected. Whittenberg and Lowe were the portly guards and Charles made the dunk
