Bluegill ==Sunfish

Around Jefferson County where can someone catch some really big bluegill or at least some decent size bluegill=sunfish. Even some warmouth will do.

man, I've been on the hunt for two years trying to find a good spot to fish in Jefferson County, but I've come up with nothing in the public sector, I've been successful in neighborhood retention ponds, but that's about it.

I hope one of the seasonal members of the Kentucky forum can chime in and lend a hand.

Just to clarify, when you say bluegill=sunfish what do you mean? Are you looking for any type of sunfish (such as largemouth bass) or just bluegill?

McNeeley Lake has some decent gills
