I never saw this until he was laying down

I also wish him a speedy recovery. Louisville played very well today! Onto the final four.

Could anyone tell where exactly he broke his leg? Was it his ankle bone or higher up in the tibia or fibula?
I broke my leg bone where the Tibia bone connected to the left ankle bone. That's called the Lateral Malleolus bone. And that's a very painful break. So I know what Keven is felling right now. They will give him some lortabs to ease the pain. If he's lucky they will give him some morphine. That works a lot better than Lortabs.

It takes about 8 weeks in a leg cast to recover and then it will hurt for a long time after the cast comes off. But he will recover and play again hopefully.

OK I just got more information from the web. They are saying that he broke his lower leg in two places and the bone was sticking out of his leg by six inches. That to me is a compound fracture if the bone end penetrated the skin. That's a very bad break that will take much longer than 8 weeks to heal. He will require surgery on that leg and let's hope he gets some good surgeons.

I didn't see it when it happened so I missed it. I just read that he told the team to win the game after he broke his leg. I wish him a speedy recovery and he has my prayers .

Compound fracture of both tibia and fibula, about the middle of the shin, maybe a little higher. Tibia was protruding from the skin. You can find the gruesome images if you search.

Kevin has successful surgery and it up again

Keven posted a picture of him walking on crutches at the Hospital.

He posted pictures showing his leg wrapped in bandages and him standing up on crutches. Instagram and twitter are useful resources.

Because of the Indy five hundred the Indianapolis Methodist Hospital has the best leg Dr. anywhere in the U.S. He is in a great hospital I heard that his injury was not career ending.

That's what the media keeps saying, and I sure hope it's true. But one thing's for certain, that leg is never going to be exactly the SAME as it was before.
