Rough River Lake


Lake and River Level Update 4 April at 7:10 AM:

Lake Level was490.01 ft and still rising slowly
Discharge is 57 cfs

Lake is clearing and crappie are are moving up with anglers reporting catching in the 4-6 ft level.
Minnows and jigs ,with rosy red minnows have been the preferred.

Bass action is starting to pick up on crankbaits and jigs fished on rocky points and ledges.

Just wondering if the water temp has gone up much. Anyone catching anything lately?

Wednesday it was running about 47, 48 for most of the day but late in the day I found some areas reaching 50. With the sun Friday it should reach 50+ in the afternoon. This weekend should be pretty good fishing.
