Sounds like a great time! My buddy and I went down for the week (March 30 - April 6) fun fishing. We had a great day on Big G Thursday as well. It was cold on us and the fish but we found the big females grouped up in 7-8 feet of water on grass edges and stumps. It was the best day of fishing for big fish I have ever experienced with my best 5 29 pounds on a texas rig and shakey head. Every bite we had was over 4 pounds with a 5-10 and my new PB 10-02 (pic and release). Now I need to find a good replica taxidermist. The amount of big fish coming out of Guntersville this late winter and spring is just amazing!
