White bass at nolin?

Does anybody have any info on the white bass running down there. I've been harassed by my girlfriend to take her fishing this year and thought catching some nice whites would make her happy. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine called me last night and said that they were starting in the headwaters. Where specifically ,I do not know, but he caught 3 shy of his limit in two hours, just before evening.Take her to the river LOL. I'll see you at the tailwaters of Taylorsville.

Went with my dad Sat 9am-1PM in search of some white bass in Salt river. Started at the quarry by the bridge walked the river just past the paved parking lot. ZERO, zilch. There wasn't even a sniff or movement of anything in the water. It was REALLY clear water and just slightly lower flow than I've seen in the past. At least 10 other people in the area has the same result. One guy reported some catches including some females last Sat.

My brother is there today...same results. What the heck? It hasn't gotten cold, it's gotten warmer. The only thing I can believe is we need rain???

Fished for 3 hours today and caught 10 whites. All males though but still nice fish. Had a blast and I'm going back tomorrow because I just can't pass up the fight those fish put up its addicting.
