What are some opinions on first week of may from Paris to new johnsonville. Usually fish north end but contemplating trying down there this year.

It is a great place to fish. Alot different than the north. Grass is king down south. If water is up I like the north because most fish are in brush, down south they may be out in grass or in brush. At summer pool the south is better for me because it has lots of grass to fish. The ROCK and hurricane are my fav's. Last year May was tough for me, this year things are better or back to normal. Good luck and let us know how you do. I am going back down May 17th for two weeks.

Thanks for the response. How is the grass doing this year so far and how far north does it usually come on the main river?
