Hillmans ferry boat ramp public?

Does any know if hillman ferry campground boat ramp in pisgah bay open to public--if not is there a good ramp to put in bass boat on pisgah or smith bay

Almost certain you have to be camping in Hillman's Ferry to put in there. There is a public ramp that can be accessed by passing the entrance to Hillman's Ferry. I'm sorry but I don't know any road numbers or names.

You MUST be camping there. I tried to use it once and they would not let me.

NO biggie...Take Smith Lake exit, and pass the turn to smith. At the end of that, you make a right and go down a small gravel road to a pretty decent ramp. Be use to use the low water ramp that is 1 lane.

It is not bad, and a great way to launch from there.

I've paid camping fees and not camped to use that ramp though
