Been a little busy or I would have posted over the weekend! My friend and I had a great opening day on his farm. Birds were hammering on the roost, but after flydown they seemed to get tight lipped. We were setup at the edge of a field with a rolling slope about 80-100 yards in front of us. These 2 birds came in behind 6 hens and strutted all the way down the hill. They came in from the West so the sun was on them the entire time and it was one of the best sights I had ever witnessed! I was so zoned in on them I didn't even take pics, but it was amazing!

Very nice!!! Sure would be nice to have a video of moments like that huh? How big we're those birds? I had one almost fly into my windshield today while driving and I was in Lexington by Hamburg Shopping Center off of Liberty Road! Dang thing scared me! I thought I jumped a buzzard eating something on the side of the road until I did a double take.
