Lures for stripers

I was just opened up to the world of striper fishing where mill creek flows into the river.

I was using just some crappie jigs that I have and was catching smaller stripers.

I have searched the forum for tips for fishing for stripers in the river, but now I'm wondering what everyone's go to lure when striper fishing.

I had one hit on a rooster tail and the other two hit on a crappie jig.


What lures do y'all use?

Jigging spoons, Zoom Super Flukes, Spinner baits, top water Pop'R if they are on top, and even chicken liver has worked for me.

My only experience has been stripers on the Ohio river.
