cumberland bass fishing

I am planning on fishing Cumberland from mid lake towards the dam this coming weekend. I have not been on the lake all year. Have the large mouth moved into the pockets, what stage of the spawn are the smallmouth in? What does the water look like since it came up and has the water even raised 20 ft? Thanks for any help, just dont want to wast a lot of gas if I can help it.

Caught 15 on Saturday on spinnerbait in the heads of the pockets. Sunday was different 2 in the heads very little elsewhere also. It is up 20' and still clear, very little color. I will be here all week just starting to fish Cumberland so dont know much more to share with you. Feel free to message me an I will share what I learn this week.
