Here's what I can't understand.....Radical Islamic/Muslims do not understand compassion or understanding they view that as weakness and it actually enhances their violent acts against us and others. Why do so many live in a state of denial on this? The embracing efforts to understand yada yada is not working....AT ALL.
The only thing these animals understand is the Sword and the Gun. You have to fight them in the trenches and be meaner and more savy than they are. I won't post on here what I would have wanted done to that Yap to make him talk because it would hurt all these sensitive guys feelings. But I can tell you that sum bitch would have talked big time. It's time for this country to get back to basics and quit all this crybaby feel good crap. It actually makes me sick. Sitting around a campfire making smores and bumpin pee pee's ain't working, it's time to kick some serious ass but we can't for all the love and compassion and for what. Animals that hate our guts and want to kill our children and laugh at us afterwards. I'm done, I'm old school, all our fathers and past veteran warriors are rolling over in their graves....
A couple of points. First understanding. Yes, it is important. Understand what turns these people radical may help us to figure out how to stop others from becoming radical. Also, by better understanding how they think/feel about things enables us to better combat the terrorists. Know thy friends, but know thy enemies better, or something to that effect. Once you find them out, I agree, hit them hard.

Making that yap talk. Umm, seemed like he was talking just fine without any pressure. Why the need for any enhanced interrogation techniques? We start down that road and they'll be using that against us a a recruitment tactic. The thing that we did wrong in this case was reading him his Miranda rights before we got all of the needed intel out of him. Should have let him keep talking. I would be shocked to learn that it was only he and his brother who were in the know on this. We need to know who was in the know and what they knew, then act accordingly.

We are actually being more savvy than them. Hitting terrorist targets with drones so our people are not put in harms way. Using drones/satellites to map out other potential targets. Given what we know about the Boston terrorists, we have a ways to go. Looks like we missed several red flags that could have prevented the attack in the first place.

Don't know who is sitting around the campfire making smores and bumpin pee pees. The US and our allies have been kicking some butt, in a variety of locations. Al Queda is still around, but nowhere near what they were at the time of 9-11. And yes, I know we have a ways to go on this.

DH, no worries, I did not feel singled out. Just responding as I saw fit. I don't claim to speak for other "liberals" on the board.
