Rough River Fishing

Fished rough Friday and caught several fish. Fished in a small tourney Sunday and did not catch crap! Anyone else have that problem? Just wondering what fish were being caught on Sunday. I used pumpkin green lizard all day friday. They wouldn't bite it Sunday!

The front that moved through probably did it. It's been that way the last 3 weeks. Great fishing during the week and the a front moves through during the weekend to mess it all up.

Welcome to spring time fishing boys. The fishing is never the same from day to day. Fish are on the move and constant cold fronts coming through. What works one day very seldom works the next.

It just kills me that ther are 8 boats in the tourney and 5 boats had 5 fish. Only 2 boats did not weigh fish. Maybe I need to go back to the school of fishing.

I was there yest the bite was slow caught a few. I noticed all I caught where male LM females r about to nest and seems like the lake is wanting to turn almost every where I fished the temp stayed the same. for cry from last week for me got on them good

Of all the lakes I fish Rough continues to humble me like no other. I've lived in Leitchfield 3 years now and still can't find a consistent patter any of you guys ever want to get together and try to figure it out let me know. My backseat is always open.
