X2 on the Prowler Tubes - great bass catching tubes. I like to use green pumpkin or watermelon in the 4" tube. Another KY brand that I like are Baney Bait tubes (www.baneybaits.com). They have a pretty potent smell baked into them that never goes away. I texas rig my tubes 99% of the time and find that dragging it vs. hopping it gets more strikes, but you have to let the bass tell you what they want...it changes daily! I found that out on Barkley last month.

In regards to jigs/trailers, Mtn Lures is the man when it comes to both of these and I suggest sending him a PM - trully a great guy who will be more than happy to help you out.

    Good luck!

Would just like to thank everyone for the replies! Plan on going by a local bait shop in a few to pick some things up! I'll report back on how it goes.

D & L jigs with a Netbait Papa Chunk trailer. Black and Blue jig, Saphire Blue or Okechobbee Blue trailer. OOPS color jig, Bama Bug color trailer. 1/2oz or 3/16oz. Can't go wrong with either color.
