No one really figures that lake out totally. I have notice the ramps are charging $10 now, and by all means they have the right to do so if they so choose. I only wish there could be a public ramp so the people who want to fish can do so without feeling they have been taken. I understand Herrington is a different lake being KU owns the lake...if I understand it right. I'm just saying...I don't plan to fish Herrington now. They can have it, and I hope the people who don't fish enjoy their time on the lake.
I am with ya. I will not pay it. I will fish elsewhere. People If you pay 10.00 bucks or a hundred you are paying too much. As long as you keep digging in your wallet to fish the ramp owners will keep right on raising the fees and taking your cash laughing all the way to the bank.Stop going to Herrington and watch the ramp fees come crashing down. They cannot keep raping the public for very long if they stop coming.Just my 2 cents.
