KY lake - Blood River Area

I fish KY lake every year and going down on May 19th. I know the lake from dam to bridge very well. Looking for something different maybe and wondered what the Blood River area was like? I have heard it is quite a bit different than above the dam. Just looking for some thoughts. Thanks

Blood River itself has a lot of good points and ledges in the front part...lots of shallow humps in Blood so be careful....some good flipping docks in the back part and in Sugar Creek....the area outside Blood has a lot of islands....west side is a lot shallower than up north...stay inside the bouys on the west side...LBL side bays are similiar to the LBL bays up north.

    KY Lake Blood River

Hey Dave, thanks for the info. You may remember me, (Joe Kraemer)I come down every year, and years ago you and sometimes your wife used to come over for dinner one night. We will be at Shawnee Bay from May 19th to the 23rd so if you want to stop by for some good food let me know. Thanks again.
