Lower end clear, 67 degrees and lots of little stuff along the shoreline.

Can anyone give me any info on what the lake looks like? Was thinking about coming down and fishing it soon, but I Iive in Lexington, so it's over an hour drive and I didn't want to waste a trip. Last time I fished cumberland was about a month ago - bite was slow (fishing for bass), and the water was muddy, and there was floaters and debris everywhere to where you couldn't even run on plane for fear of tearing up your motor, and every cast you made you were picking trash off your line and lure. Was wanting to try it again soon, but didn't want to waste the trip if the lake conditions were the same or worse. Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks, by lower end - do you mean down towards the dam and beaver creek? Or towards fishin creek and burnside? Just have known several people who have different ideas on where the lower end is, I always though lower end was towards the dam. And also, when you said it was clear - did you mean water clarity is clear or the water is clear of debris? Thanks!
Lower end means the dam area to me. Water is clear, not muddy.
