    If the IRS's story is true, and they were just trying to "centralize work," there should be other applications that were similarly flagged and grouped together, not just those. If there aren't, it's hard to believe this wasn't politically motivated.

    Do you think the story is true?

    I personally don't believe a WORD of it....If so, why did they not centralize and investigate all contributions to all political parties. Seems awful fishy to me.

    This story is getting LEGS...........

    Another Obama Scandal.

    Lets see......

    * ObamaCare.........failure
    * Guantinamo........failure
    * Economy............failure
    * Benghazi........failure
    * IRS-Gate.........failure

    It is amazing that those presidents that "worry" about their image and legacy are the ones who will end up with absolutely horrible images and legacy.

    Obama will go down in history as a horrible president..........HORRIBLE. It might take 5-10 years to know exactly how bad, but it will be BAD.

    Later,

    Geo

    Imagine the news media doing their job and actually reporting the news. This IRS thing could be a damaging blow to this administration. To me it's a lot more noteworthy than Bill Clinton's 'cigar habit'.

    Does anybody in this country, regardless of politics, think it's okay to use the IRS as an attack dog on your political opponents?

    Hell no. And Obama himself is saying today that if that's what happened, "that's outrageous, and there's no place for it." So, either he didn't know about it, or he knows that nobody can prove he did. OR the IRS is telling the truth, and it really was a decision made by local workers in an effort to "centralize work." But as I've said, if that were the case, they should be able to point to other groups of applications that were treated the same way, which I have not seen. I think it was a decision made by local workers, based on politics. Obama probably had nothing to do with it, but he's still going to take a lot of heat over it, and he IS the boss, so that comes with the territory. But I don't see it being that much of a damaging blow, not like Bengazi, which WILL hurt him (as it should).

    You see....things like this is why I am so against bigger and bigger gubment. It gets to the point that we can do nothing or have no voice and we cry on deaf ears. I hear horror stories about what the IRS can do to Americans who have made mistakes who are not scheming criminals and now this?
    Take it a step further and think about the gubmnet having a major play in healthcare. If they own it and they police themselves how can that be good?? Sorry got off topic....corruption isn't a clean cut cancer that gets found out and cut out. It usually involves multiple layers of people and we only hear of the fall guy. I am willing to bet we will never know the whole truth and the next scandal will make this a distant memory. It's scandal after scandal anymore......

    Obama is losing favor, and losing it fast.......

    Die hard libs that I know are really PISSED at him, and die hard libs in the democratic party, including some serious senate and house members are PISSED......

    Even some members here, who are true blue Obama Lovers are beginning to get pissed.

    Maybe there is hope yet.

    The administration's early spin was this was just some low level IRS workers in Cincinnati. Low and behold it's now been traced back to the IRS office in...wait for it....Washington DC. What a surprise!
