I know the changed up the stocking which I think has a lot to do with it but I have heard that people have been doing really good on the other end of the lake by Grove Marina. Does anyone have any idea where would be a good spot to try the night bite over there? Again we will be fishing for trout so I'm not looking for anyone's hot spots for walleye or smallies. I have pretty much given up on catching those down there.
It has been many years since we have done it, but there is an island on the main lake just outside of Grove marina. We use to tie up to the "cliffs" on the Grove marina side of the island and fish for trout under lights. You just have to experiment with the depth. Like I said, it has been a while since I have been down there, but I think I am describing it accurately. Good Luck!
