Herrington Lake

Anybody had in any luck fishing for Hybrids or Bass on the lower half of the lake recently? Probably headed down to fish Saturday.

How is the debris?

Been bass fishing the past few days down there, water temp started around 66 and has been rising since and two days ago it was 68 I'm sure it's back up to 70 now. Quite a bit of debris around the lake, especially back in Cane Run. Fishing has been extremely slow but most of my bites have come off a jig throwing around docks and tree bases that are now underwater. Most of the fish have been fairly small(around 10-14 inches probably). Honestly I'm still trying to figure them out. As for Hybrids I haven't been targeting them, but also haven't noticed much surface action going on.

got a late start but fished from 10am-2pm

Temp 69-71F Lot of debris around Chimney rock and no wake zone and in coves. Water clear for H-ton

Didnt see any schools of shad, started fishing for Hybrids and ended up bass fishing. Did see a few single isolated Hybrid jumps. We caught about 5, 4 bass and 1 hybrid. mostly dinks but 1 was a nice bass. Only a few fisherman out. One boat trolling said they caught a hybrid.
