I'd go below the dam and fish from the bank for trout. You can use corn or small rooster tails and probably TEAR them up.

Thanks Geo, that is a good option, was thinking maybe go the the back of the campground, where the creek enters the river, put down some rod holders (corn, worms, powerbait, etc.) Only concern there is all the wood and hangups they would encounter. But still a good option, as well as other areas along the Cumberland bank. Thanks again.
