Any recent rough river reports?

Gonna be down this weekend and haven't heard much on rough lately. Anyone fished it recently. How is the bite with them pulling the lake right now? Thanks

I live here on Rough and am having a ball throwing a Pop-r and a fluke in the grass where people mow their yard. Its like somebody dropped a 5 gal bucket when they explode on it. The water is still about 5 ft high and dropping. The Hybrids should be busting on top about the 1st of June.

I suggest fishing the flooded brush on the main lake. I fished a tourney this past saturday and stayed in the back of creeks and didn't catch anything. Right at the last I went to fish the outside of a pocket on the main lake and caught a 3.41 large mouth on a jig. Although if they start pulling the lake hard then the bass will mover deeper.

Alright so has anybody been down over the past few days? It looks like its gonna be a little to cold for me to swim so that means I'm fishing all weekend? Anymore reports so I can finalize my game plan? Thanks for the help. I'll report back Tuesday.
