Hey I live in Henry co. north of Frankfort. I would try fishing the Kentucky river. I fish it quite a bit up here and do pretty well at times. I have caught several Blue cats over 40lbs. I have heard that the blues don't get that far up the river but I know there are some good flatheads and channels there. Try live bluegill for the flatheads.
