If I had to go to either of these lakes with the crowds this weekend, I'm going at night. Made that mistake only one time, that was all needed. Herrington fishes better at night anyways. Taylorsville, maybe some one else is catching them better then I am right now, not hard to do. Maybe someone will add that info if so. If Herrington is full of trash it can be dangerous at night. You really want to move slowly if so. If you've never fished Herrington, it be different then just about any other lake that you have fished. Herrington is mostly bluff walls (intimidating). Crankbaits and texas rig big worms worked best for me. There is also a full moon this week, so you might want to try a craw of some sort. Good Luck
