Kincaid Report

Fished Kincaid Sat from daylight till 1pm. Lake was dirty/murky. Water temps 69. Caught several small bass on trick worm and 1 keeper, 14". No bites on frog, BB, CB, and Jig/pig. Caught several dink crappie 6-8" on jig. Had the whole lake to ourselves from daylight till 9am. From 9-1 lake was packed with boats from canoes to pontoons.

The lake is less than 200 acres and is hammered by fishermen. Like you said feast or famine. It was famine for me Sat. All of the short fish were less than 10". Don't know if they had spawned or were spawning. We fished shallow all day. Fish were caught on wood or weedline. Next time out I will look for offshore structure and breaks and fish deeper.

Was there on Sunday. One 12 inch bass. Lost another about the same size. Both on T-rigged plastics. Fished many different lures. Was there from dawn til 2pm.

Did any of you guys go back in the creek? Was the water very stained back there by the bridge?
