Of all the people I know and all of my friends, nobody fishes,,, all of my best buddies only hunt. Even my wife hates fishing!!!!!!!! Normally I go to the lake by myself, but with gas prices going crazy it makes it tough. Whats the best way to hook up with other fishermen. ...... how did you guys meet your fishin buddies???????

No dis-respect to the others on here that I have fished with but my best fishing buddy is Chunknwind and I have known him since I was 7 years old, going on 33 years now, and we grew up in the same neighborhood. We both love to fish and I almost have him converted to being a Smallie chaser instead of chasing those "Green Carp" (just for you Biggw). He does have some stiff competition growing for my son is 4 years old and currently a "Netboy In Training". He has his Bass Pro Shop miniature truck and boat with the 3 "fishing guys", that is him, me and Uncle Cliff and loves to man the net so to speak. Other than these 2 fellas, I will say I have met and had the pleasure of fishing with several fellas from this board and all of them are real nice guys that love to fish. Post needing a partner for a particular lake on a particular day and most likely you will have someone private messaging you to join for the day. Meet them at the ramp and you will most likely make a fishing buddy. I have gotten more request to fish with different people from this board that I can't possibly ever get to them all and truthly have forgotten who has asked me to do what. I know several want to go to Dale Hollow in the winter FNF fishing for that is my favorite, Bobber Fishing as my Dad calls it. Post your request and you will most likely get some response. Good Luck

My partner just sold his boat and my is being repaired. I am doing the fishin.com tourney with pastorbass. I met him through this board.

Let me know if you need someone to go with. I agree with you and most my friends don't like to fish. Just private message me and we can go. Will split costs for gas. I can even pick up the cost of the tourney since we would be using your boat. I consider that fair since that is the big expense.

I am still fairly new to the ky lake area, so I too was in your situation. I joined a bass club, and have met some outstanding people. I get to fish with someone new every other week, and it is great. So I suggest finding a local bass club. Meet some people, learn some new tricks/techniques, and most of all have some fun.

Seems like as soon as bought my boat and parked it at the house, anytime I am out cleaning it up or getting ready to hit the lake someone always if not more stop and chat it up and next thing you know you got a fishing trip planned.
Some of the people I know I want to take but work schedules and home duties usually get in the way. Danno Ben LETS GO!!!!!!
