Winfrey's Ferry boat launch

Does anyone know what the water level should be to take a jon boat from Winfrey's Ferry to Helm's Landing without worrying about tearing up a prop?

I'm thinking of heading down there this weekend and never launched at Winfreys. Any help would be appreciated.

I am pretty sure that the ramp at Winfrey's has a 90 degree turn in it. It's supposed to be "interesting".

You can check the TVA river levels for Wolf Creek. A good wading level is I believe 541 ft, which is a little low for boat travel unless you have a jet motor or go downstream around Burkesville.
