I started playing in college...love golf...but I've never been a superstar at it or anything. I'll shoot in the 80's on a good day. Bogey Golf is about the norm for me on most courses, with the occasional days where a few things click and I do better. I used to practice a lot, but have come to just enjoy it for what it is - An excuse to drink beer, cuss, and not work. I've never been a real long ball hitter, but I generally hit them straight. I've learned that short and straight is a lot better than long and in the woods. LOL

Back when I took my 3 year hiatus from being fat, I walked 18 holes a week carrying my bag...loved it...I actually play better when I walk. I think it has something to do with pace.

Now that I'm on Team Fat & Slow again, I'm back to riding a cart. We play a lot of golf through work.

The thing is, DJD has the perfect setup where we live...The golf course is right across the road from our Fishing Club Lake. BOOYAH, Jack. Pack a 9-iron and a 7' Medium Heavy and you're set.
