hahaha no doubt! That's an advantage when you don't hit it far!
We held up the group behind us because we were looking for balls from our group. I see the advantage of driving a ball 300 yards but man when it doesn't go where you want it I think it loses that advantage. I saw several Callaway balls get lost which had to hurt.....what do those balls cost???
My instructor has me paying alot of attention to the short game and the more I learn about the game the more I see its a major part of my play. You potentially get 18 shots with a driver and a few with some woods but the remainder of strokes are with irons. I'm just a novice but it makes sense to me to pay alot of attention to the short game. I know there are more nuances to the game but that will come. Ohhh and I won't play with any balls that aren't cheap or found while looking for other balls....I think I have about 5 different makes right now that are used and the ones they gave us! I don't have a game yet so a used ball can't hurt me!!![]()

Sounds like your doing quite well.
