Any new Nolin Lake reports?

Has anyone been to Nolin in the past few days? How has the bass fishing been, and are they in the jumps yet?

I'm planning on going there Thursday morning.

They were in the jumps a few days ago. About a hour before dark there was a good boil beside my boat. I caught a good five pounder and four smaller after dark. It seemed like the fish were just picking up my bait "worm" and mouthing it a little. Any way I caught five in a bout three hours and my son never boated a fish. You had to pay a lot of attention to catch one but I had a blast.

I was out at Nolin about 2 weeks ago and they were going crazy in Canaloway in the middle of the day. Saw some crazy schools break out busting shad. It's been a while since I've seen them go crazy like that. But it would only last about 10 seconds and they would go back down and not appear for another hour or so.

Was down there this past weekend and they was in the jumps late evening holding up about 10 to 15 seconds. I caught a couple off a roostertail but nothing really big. 3 white bass and about a 2 pound largemouth. ive been fishing around the wax area
