Well good for Jim! I'm sure he always wanted to be closer to 76 Falls.
Grider is my favorite Marina on the entire lake...always has been
I noticed a few new guide boats this past weekend and spoke with one of them. He said he was relocating to Grider and he was a part time guide. My guess he is with this relocation. I think some of them are moving in around my boat. I asked about bait and the guy said he would be putting a light out. That could be three or four lights on our row if they do not wish to tag team it. For those that do not know, having several lights spread out hurts bait catching as the bait settles between the lights instead of under one. I may have to change slips as it was hard enough before this.

I guess it sounds like I am complaining, and I guess I am, but I know they have a right to those slips that are down from me. Its just that I have been in that slip for what seems like forever. I'll wait and see how it plays out..
personally i dont think youre complaining at all....i feel your frustration. i wish you could call "dibbs" on a spot , unfortunately you cant, and with multiple boats you can bet there will be someone throwing a net pretty much 7 nights a week. i wouldnt waste alot of time and effort, i see a slip relocation in your near future. also look for a pm, info you might find helpful.
I'll be on the lookout for the PM. I looked up the guy I spoke with and he is with Striper Fun, which makes perfect sense. For the record, he was a very nice guy to talk to.
Hello to the Lake Cumberland fishermen. As you read, StriperFun is now out of Grider Hill marina. We would welcome seeing you down there!
Please feel free to call me if I can help you.
