    no mention??

I guess no one watched the Stanley cup play offs. That was one nail biting series. three games went into overtime. The top four teams were all cup winers.Way to go black hawks!!!

No way! That's one sport I cannot get into. I tried and tried but can't get the bug to watch it. I suppose growing up mostly in Florida and South Carolina in the 70's & 80's made me this way...we just didn't get exposed to that sport. The few sports I cannot watch are Hockey, Soccer, Baseball and tennis.

    we played

Our nrighborhood park always flooded a skating area, part was a hockey area. we also had a warming house and lights for night skating. I was a fair ice skater. Also they had a tobagon hill at another park, plenty of stuff for us to do during the winter.

I watched it and loved it, although I would have preferred to see Boston win it. I just don't bother posting about hockey on here any more.

Hey I watched it as much as the Basic Cable Channel would let me. WoW used to carry a lot more hockey games but I had to watch some of the playoff games on the Internet instead of TV.

I was rooting for Chicago from the start. I've been a hockey fan for years and even played Ice Hockey in College.

We have a semi pro hockey team in Evansville now and they are moving up the ladder. We have a brand new Ice Hockey Arena now and a lot more people in this town are becoming Ice Hockey Fans. Most of them didn't have a clue what iceing or offside was about and many of them may still not know the difference. But they love to watch the fights. I use to referee the Ice Hockey games at the first Ice Rink in Evansville. That's not much fun when things get wild.

It was good to see two of the Original Six NHL Hockey teams going at each other for the Stanley Cup. Boston was better along the boards and much more physical than Chicago was on hole but Chicago was faster and got the puck in the net more often. And that's all that really counts.
