Does anybody know how to keep them away. Not afraid of them but they play heck under my carport and i get tired of pressure washing webs down a couple times a year. I just laid out a good dose of the Ortho home defense but i honestly dont look for it to keep them away. Theyre living in the siding under my carport and i imagine spraying the ones i see is just scratching the surface of the problem

Cayene pepper helps to. Hedge Apples helps a little but not alot.
Man the bugs are on steroids this year, flippin everywhere
I shouldnt have knocked the ortho home defense stuff. Went out this morning to a bunch of dead spiders. Well see if a bunch more show up tonight
I do have spider issues this year and in the past I used some sort of spray on the outside perimeter of the house and on the window openings. I need to do it again since I have webs popping up all over the windows and ground cover.
spray talstar its sold at southern states... as i stated in a previous post it kills any bug it comes into contact with adn lasts about 90 days or so.. If u spray it on your concrete and the bug crosses the path its dead... after it dries its pet and kid safe... Google it TALSTAR... Its good stuff for sure.
Starve them. A spider has to buy four pairs of sneakers to jog. Increase shoe prices, and the money they spend on shoes detracts from their food budget.
All kiddng aside, I use BAYER ADVANCED 32 oz Complete Insect Killer That attaches to the garden hose. The spiders it does not kill either starve or leave the area because all the bugs they would eat are now toast.
I shouldnt have knocked the ortho home defense. Ive been out there every night looking for spiders and im yet to see a single one living. Not sure how long itll last but for the time being its worked great. I killed 40-50 the first night
