This whole mess was genned up by the NBC when they EDITED the call between Zimmerman and the police and reported it as news. Nothing gets ratings like race motivated white on black killings and they knew it.

Now we may see riots if he isn't convicted.

Plus, ff the guy's name were Rodriguez instead of Zimmerman, I doubt any of this would ever have been.

Man your right on target......He is half white. Let me get this straight..... Obama is half white but according to the majority of the media and Americans he is black. Tiger woods is half Asian but he is referred to as black by most. Zimmerman is half white but is referred to as white Hispanic??? Amazing huh?? His race identification has to have white in it to fuel the racial tension. He could be 1/4 white and still be labelled white by the media lynch mob because it makes a better story.
i read some "wiki" stuff on Zimmerman and it states he has some black family members and that he is described as Hispanic. Looks as if he has a history of helping black people in the community and supporting some perceived injustices in the past with blacks. This whole media/prosecuted/potus statements STINKS!!!!

I couldn't care less what color these two guys skin are, if the were both pink. it would still be Zimmerman's fault the young man is Dead. I can't see how anyone that heard the 911 call, could think otherwise. Zimmerman was a want A be cop, and started following the boy for no reason other than he was walking through the neighborhood. the 911 operator even told him not to follow the boy, yet he kept following him. and the end result was a young boy's life was taken away from him, because Zimmerman couldn't help but push it.

I think I have them strait, a Dispatcher, an operator, is the person taking the call. it don't matter who answered the call. they gave Zimmerman some good advice, if he would have listen, he wouldn't be on trial and the young Kid would still be alive. it's sad that Zimmerman couldn't mind his own business, and let the real police take care of people that look suspicious. I know if my kid was walking in any neighborhood in America, the land of the free. I wouldn't want someone following them with a gun, playing cop. I think he should get life for what he did.

Your right it shouldn't matter about the color of their skin but it is one of the first things that popped up as a reason why this happened.
Personally I don't think it was as cut and dry as your stated but its your opinion based on what we are told. I haven't watched any of it or listened to it. I just read the news about it so maybe I'm missing some of it. I do think that when Obama said that stupid remark about Martin would look like his son if he had one.....that things turned for the worse. It polarized the event more than it would have been otherwise. He should have stayed out of it like he should have stayed out of the cop arresting his acquaintance (or whatever he was) and having a "beer summit" to wipe away the damage he did. I say it all the time about this guy for as smart as he seems to be he sure stirs the racial pot!!

Nope. If he followed him may not be a wise move but none the less it is not illegal. If Martin does not attach him he would be alive. That is what the defense is saying. Any way you look at it it is sad.

I think the prosecution has done a poor job. I think they were forced into a trial for political reasons and they knew it. But, the people who force them don't put on the suite and argue the case. That way if they loose it, was the prosecutor's fault because he was week or did not do X. I have seen it a ton of times. My opinion is the media wants him to walk so there will be riots and that makes a great story.

On the flip side if he walks I would sue the news media for all of the video editing that was done. When they cleaned up the pictures of his injuries and doctored the tape recordings that is BS.

If there is a crime by all means hammer him but don't sway it to make a story/trial.
