What is the purpose of a neighborhood watch if not to keep an eye on the neighborhood and anybody or anything that might be a threat to the folks who live there, if that is not the purpose then why have a watch.... I don't believe Mr. Zimmerman was acting outside of his responsibilities by keeping an eye on this individual.... Had Mr. Martin went on his way there wouldn't be a trial going on because it is likely he would have gotten to his destination unharmed.
