Thanks for posting the pictures PeteThese are typical Chinook Salmon(KingSalmon) caught on Lake Ontario . We launch out of Port Hope Ontario which is just east of Toronto Ontario Canada. The were taken off down riggers and Wire (with dipseys) .We fished over 116 to 300 feet of water, down about 85 to 100 feet. The water temps are real high this year so most of the fish are scattered. Lake Ontario is a fish factory. Salmon caught over 40 pounds, Rain bow trout(Steelhead) as high as 19 to 20 pounds have been caught but most in the 8 to 12 pound range,Lake trrout up to 20 pounds. For the Bass Lovers Tournament bags of Smallies coming in at 26 pounds 6 pounders are common, this past weekend a 7 pounder was put on the tourney Scale(all released) . If any would like more info on fishing Ontario Canada ... let me Know I see if I can help you out.
