Just wanted to tell you guys about the great redfish trip I had in the beginning of July with Capt. Michael Savedow of Edgewater River Guide in Florida. I found him on the Florida Board here on Fishin.com and made arrangements for a trip on July 3rd. My buddy Steve and I went out and caught a total of 8 redfish with 6 of those being over 30". We fished in the morning in an area called Mosquito Lagoon which was just north of Cape Canaveral. It was loaded with islands and all kinds of birds along with dolphins and manatees. Mike was very knowledgeable about the area and the type of fishing we were doing. He made it look very easy even though I am sure it is not. He also has a great boat that is setup for this style of flats fishing.
