Nothing interesting about that.......EVERYONE knew it anyways.

I don't understand why we pay them at all. If we didn't, maybe less would make careers of it.

BUT then again, if we didn't pay them, the opportunities for the "common" man to run would completely be non existent. Of course, that is HOW it currently is anyways.....Maybe we should STOP paying the dirty rotten SOB's.

Unions are the best thing that has happened to work-a-day people in the last hundred years.... Union retires have had a much better retirement than non-union employees, with the weakening of the unions that is changing.

I have to agree with you

I find it hard to understand why some people are so anti union. They have made life much better for the average working joe than it would have been without them.

Unions have had a hard fight over the past 200 years. Many people have died in order for the rest of us to have better working conditions, better pay and better retirement

That's all being taken away from us slowly but surely. That's got to stop or everyone who works with their hands and is not a Congressman Or US Senator will be working for peanuts like they do in Mexico.

I have to chime in about my dislike for unions. I see to many instances where they ruin a situation all in the name of fairness. Long ago unions did some good things but they became so big and powerful that they turned corrupt at many levels.
Nothing against the people who work for a living or work for the unions....I just don't like how they do business.

My hometown was DESTROYED by the "best thing that ever happened to work-a-day people"

    I call HORSESHIT..........

My hometown and areas around it had 12 UAW related UNION BASED factories. They now have none. The factories moved because they could no longer be profitable making their product in Central Indiana. Don't tell me about Greed and CEO Pay or any of that crap.

It is NOT your right to have a job.....it is the RESPONSIBILITY of the company to be profitable to the shareholders. Period. When the profitability suffers, companies must figure out a way to be profitable......Simple Economics.

People chose to back unions, and now those people are out of a job. And I"m not talking a few. I'm talking about 20-30 thousand jobs over a couple decades.

Yea, UNIONS are the best thing since apple pie....that is until they screw you out of employment. The company didn't give two shits, they needed to make money. Too **** bad the dumbass union FOOLS didn't realize that then they were voting to strike every 3-4 years, and forced the hand of the "company".

Yea........I bet all my UAW friends and family would love to have their DELCO or Borg Warner, or Chrysler, or Fisher Guide, or Chevrolet, or Delphi, or, or , or job back........

When I left in 1985 there were 12 UAW / Automotive plants in or around my hometown. Now, there are ZERO.

    I blame UNIONS.

BTW...I should also say the UNION STEWARDS...those that were negotiating for the union, never held a line job in their life....I know a few, and I'm related to a few too. Talk about screwing the little guy. They are worse than a politician, yet you FOOLS follow them lock step.

I personally know a guy, just a few years older than me, who put his papers in to retire. He's a big wig UAW negotiator. He NEVER was out of a job when those plants went under. He NEVER went hungry. He NEVER walked a line, all the while he supported his multi family dwellings. A 3000 sq ft 300k house in North Central Indiana, and his other 400k house in Detroit.

Ask me sometime. I can share a crap ton of stories about your beloved UAW, and how they "really" operate.
