Going there today, just wondering if anybody has been doing any good lately bass fishing? I haven't been on the river much this year.

    Thanks,

Yeah I fished that Dixie tournament today and ended up with 7.45. We was fishing flats up in grants all day. I had one 3.5 that got off just out of reach of the net that would've put us over 9.08(weight that won the tournament). Just my luck, the one that gets off is always the one that would've put us over the top. Every small fish we caught today, we had to get the needle nose pliers out to get the hooks out of their mouth. We had five fish with one right at 3#'s but the other 4 was line burners.

Thanks for the heads up, but in those Dixie tournaments, they always call the release area from the first bridge coming in the creek, to the first cooling pond off limits. If not, you better bet I would be in there fishing for those hungry fish :-)

There was 45 boats I believe. Not sure what cb is but if it means crappie bite, yes the bite is definitely on. I seen a guy catch what looked to be about a 3 pounder in the back of grants creek on a beaver dam. I caught a few myself. I also talked to a older guy in the back of grants creek that has caught enough this year to fill a 55 gallon drum up! He's just been doing the usual, flipping a small crappie jig and minnows around
bushes on the edge of the breaks in the head if the creeks. He said the further out towards the mouth, the slower the bite was.

    Hope this helps!

My bad for the super late repl. For some reason I don't get notifacations when I get a reply on a thread. I haven't done much at all on a CB this year. Mostly jig and worm. Hey Rob, I didn't know that was you until you said tell the mailman to get the net ...Hell he moves too slow and can't net anyway or, at least that's what Tim Adams tells me lol!!!
