I believe the "Obama phone" was actually a "Reagan phone" if you want to look up the origins of the idea.

Not sure about the dealership closings but I'm sure there are a lot of details on that also you haven't bothered to find out the pros and cons of.

Obama care was likely a bad idea but it is unlikely it has enough history to make that determination but I'm sure that won't stop you from drawing your political conclusions based on your hate for the man.

I saw a booth/table setup on third and race street last week that said free phones and yep it was in the middle of the hood. Went by twice through the morning and both times I saw people around the table. I'm guessing it was Obie phones.
I mentioned it on here last year how a fellow workers stepson has two phones for free. He was told he could have two since the lady was given a task to get rid of phones and she was **** well gonna do it. So he has no job, no desire for anything, into drugs and stealing, lives where ever he can and gets rewarded with two free phones.
This is the problem I have with all these social programs!!! Give give give and losers take take take. We all know some people need help but to just promote social aid as part of your politics is IMO sending the wrong message to the recipients and the tax payers busting their ass to provide for themselves and their family.
My 16 year old daughter has wanted an iPhone for years (she is delusional!!) I said no but if you work you can get your own....well she started work at Kroger yesterday.

I believe Mr Reagan was a patriot and actually believed in what he was saying, only problem with an idea that is voluntary participation is the 'I'm going to keep everything that you don't force out of me' and Mr Reagan actually thought business and corporate owners would 'share the bounty' so to speak... The truth is business and corporate owners will work you until you drop and give you a biscuit for your trouble if you allow them to, it is sad that in a country like we have, trade unions are just about the only way to force any kind of reasonable wage from these guys.
