Right on DJD The knot that Shaw Grigsby ties is an awsome knot. I just started using it this year on flurocarbin and I love it. I use palomar knot on braid as well and I think the Grigsby knot is called a double clinch, but I'm not 100% sure.

I love that knot now.....I was giving up on Flouro until someone on here recommended that shaw video.....I don't think it is the double clinch though but i wish i knew the real name.....I forgot how to tie it the other day and went on memory and I thought I did it right....it held perfect through the whole 6 hours of tossing jigs in rocks but I just looked it up and I did it wrongI forgot to create the loop around my finger that gets the double line passed up through on the final move. What ever I did felt right, looked right, worked great and was some other knot that just doesn't use that loop created with the double line.
Thanks, looks like the Pitzen Knot, but tied with a double strand...Great Knot, I"ll give it trial on me striper hooks.I love that knot now.....I was giving up on Flouro until someone on here recommended that shaw video.....I don't think it is the double clinch though but i wish i knew the real name.....I forgot how to tie it the other day and went on memory and I thought I did it right....it held perfect through the whole 6 hours of tossing jigs in rocks but I just looked it up and I did it wrongI forgot to create the loop around my finger that gets the double line passed up through on the final move.
