Thanks for the link! Personally, I don't go out of my way to get non-ethanol gas. If you use gas treatments and don't let it sit for too long, you should be good. If I know I'm not going to use the gas in my boat for a couple weeks, I simply pump it out and put it in my truck. I don't really trust the storing chemicals for more than a few gallons of fuel. You put in the wrong URL. The real site is http://pure-gas.org.

Ethanol will destroy your motor. Not willing to rebuild my Opti because of bad political decisions........

Nothing wrong with your decision. But running 10% ethanol in an Opti will not cause problems as long as proper precautions are taken. Now if the content is increased we are screwed.
P.S. I just looked at the map around my area, and the closest non-ethanol gas station is 30 minutes away haha. Sure if I am going that way I will get it, but that is what I get for living in BFE.

I still have Non Ethanol right up the street........and lots of stations around the places I fish are still NON ethanol.

If I was close to one or was going by one, I would fill up so I wouldn't have to add a $12 bottle of treatment. Definitely a site I will use in the future as I venture further away from the local lakes.

I use the star brite treatment but have read articles from Mercury and Yamaha techs that say there is no additive that totally eliminates phase separation in ethanol fuel. I use the treatment just in case they are wrong but I'd say they are not.
Last time I had boat in shop I asked mechanic to change fuel lines to the newer lines. He kinda laughed and asked me why and I told him so that I could use ethanol gas in a pinch, he just laughed. When he told me what he thought was so funny I decided that I would absolutely not use ethanol gas in my outboard ever again!
All 2013 and up Ford gas motors are E-85 compliant, warranty unaffected, and same engine performance for HP and torque, just about 10% loss in EPA mileage. No harm to Ford engine components.
