No, I think they really believe religion is for the weak and is some sort of mental disorder.

The "learning curve" point was really mine. Just pointing out the fact that is obvious, that all religions have been co-opted at some point and used to justify some really evil stuff. Heck, right now, we have so-called "Christians" in the poorest places on Earth telling people that if they just give this "man of God" what little money they do have, their pigs won't die and their wives won't miscarry.

I hope the radical faction of Islam loses the fight for who really represents Muslim thought. As Christians, we could help by recognizing the millions of Muslims who don't buy the radical line of thought; instead of painting them all as animals.
