We will be fishing cumberland the 23-29th, hoping this cooler weather will turn them jumps on. We hit them last year and it was awesome. Feel free to drop by the campsite in Kendal for a glass of porch wine and we can swap stories

In August of 11, and 12, I got in to good jumps morning and evening above Indian Creek,, at and around Cemetary Ridge. Since the lake has come up, I think that pattern has changed, and I think it only occurred then because of low water, high temps, and high surface temps that brought the small gizzards up.

Last summer they were jumping bigtime in August for weeks from the dam to cemetery point in the early morning. It was extremely predictable. You could just go out there and look and listen. The fish that were jumping were the smaller fish (from what I saw) that were able to survive in the warmer water ( with good o2) from the surface down to 25'.

I have not seen or heard of that this year. Like Bob said probably had to do with the lake being our of sync.

I deleted some more posts. Honestly I didn't see any of the posts as all that bad. I may have missed some that apb deleted that were bad, who knows.

If a post was deleted that you thought should not have been it might be because I did not know what you intended to say and how you intended to say it when you typed it or the post left room for interpretation as to the intention.
