    Question Trailer Tires and Wheels

Went out this morning and noticed one of my trailer tires was flat. On closer inspection, looks like the air valve has failed. So now the question. I have a spare, but am thinking it might be just a good idea to buy 2 new tires for my trailer instead of just one new one and leave the spare alone. any thoughts?

i have st185x80r13 Goodyear on there now. I saw Titan sells a trailer tire for about $80, but i could go ahead and get galvanized wheels and new tires for about $110. What do you guys think? What's a good brand of tires? What does Walmart carry?

Goodyear marathon is an excellent trailer tire and wears good. Get the properly rated tire for your weight though, probably a C class. Never run one brand new tire with an old one, just wears the new one out that much faster. Put two new ones on there and wear them out together. Keep them properly inflated as well, very important.

Probably in that order. Tell me what S&S Tire you are closest to and I'll get you hooked up. Just email me, [email protected]

Well shoot, if the tread looks okay, I'd just get another valve stem put on......it might cost you $5 at the most, or if you're good friends with your local tire shop they might do it for free!
