I just so happened that I had that website bookmarked...my company is a big B&W Trailer Hitch distributor and they are one of the show's sponsors.

Nothing wrong with a little trash talking and prankin but something was up way before the falling in the lake incident.
The way I heard it was "It is all fun and games until someone loses a fish"

Wow I always thought this was kinda a for fun event for the anglers(and still think the same) it's not like after the last 2 seasons they didnt know what type of format this was, last year after Clausen spanked Swindle everyone thought he was the greatest, now.... Lighten up guy's this is not a life or death event for these anglers they know they have a small bit of control in the outcome it's 3 hours of control per match cutting up with guy's they normally don't get to fish with in the same boat,it's not a multi-day tour level event.I did'nt see that Clausen disliked Erhler either he's pretty much acted the same with everyone truth is since he and Erhler are basically the same age and both from the West coast I'm sure they were pretty comfortable with each other. Clausen insecure in his fishing abilities ??? 29 years old, 1.2 million in winnings alone, former FLW championship winner, former Bassmaster classic winner....I think not. It's a made for tv event.

    Re: Match Fishing Disappointment

i understand its fun, made for tv, ect...
so if any of you here and i were fishing it would be ok for me to do that to you? it wouldnt make you mad or angry at all? my fishing partner is my wife and if i did that to her i would have to swim back to the ramp. i feel that there are alot of people who would be very upset if they were on the receiving end of that joke gone wrong. thats just my outlook on the situation.

I just read the response by UMF. It makes a lot more sense now to see what was going on. However, if it was all in fun like it says, my fun would have been to pretend that nothing bothered me. I would have pretended nothing at all happened, and then when Clausen was not looking, I'd have reached in his livewell, and not let him know it, and released every single one of those fish. LMAO... if it is all fun, and it was not malicious, I would have not been malicious in letting all of Luke's fish swim free, and hope he never noticed. Then when he decided not to fish the 4th qtr, he would have gotten a huge surprise... LMAO

I really don't think pushing him in was intentional...those guys are wearing an expensive microphone unit, and the last thing you're told before hitting the lake is, "Don't fall in!" I don't know what that unit costs, but I would bet that it isn't cheap!
