Worked fine for me.
I still see the links for the river levels, and they don't work. I get a 404 "Not Found" error, which makes sense if they moved. All the other links seem to work. Are you still having problems with some? I use Firefox 3.0, and Insight.OK, the links for the river levels moved and I can not find them on the NWS site, I will continue to look. The link to Jesse should be fixed.. I deleted the River Level links till I can find them again.. NOW does anyone have any idea why some links are not working on the left side?
The second Fishin.com logo which is under the first logo on the top left does not work. Colonel Duncan link under Conel Duncan's fishing report was not working before today.
Didn't check any others.
To find out if it is a coding issue "check the code".
Regarding the code on the second fishin.com logo here it is and it is wrong.

There is no link code.
A link starts with <a href=
It should be like the below as it is on the top fishin.com logo that works:
<a href="../../index.html">

alt="Fishin.com" align="absmiddle" border="0" width="236"

It is not a server issue. There is only one server that serves the fishin.com pages...the fishin.com server so to speak. It does not matter who you connect to the internet through.
I said I was puter dumb, but why can I just click on links in other forums but not on Fishin.com
You can.

You just have to make it a link when you post it.
click the world with the chain looking thing under it to post a link.

Thank you peter, I can tell when it will work when its in red.
Look at the first post in this thread from Fishbum and you cannot just click on the link.
I have windows internet explorer and mozilla both on my pc and had no problem getting the links to work.No ideas why it doesn't works on some but seems ok on mine.
OK, proving my point.
I did delete the links to the data from NWS that were old and one other link. The Logo (2nd one down) now works as a link.
IF anyone finds any link anyplace on the site broken let me know.
I guess I could offer some kind of reward, but not sure what it would be for turning in a broken link. My email is [email protected] please send me an email any time you find a link that does not work.

Some servers like AOL disconnect from the internet for periods of time. Obscure links like the COE links do not work if they have not saved those pages.. basically AOL and other ISP's will save money by saving the 10 billion most popular pages and shut down for an hour or so some times. I have found this true especially with AOL by making changes to the site and then trying to reload the page.. the old page still shows up.. thus the post from one of the above guys saying the links to the river levels were still active when they in fact had been removed.. they went to a 404 because the links no longer went any where, while the old river level links went to an error page on the NWS site. I have even deleted the cache and reloaded and AOL still was sending me OLD outdated pages. I think Iglou, and other local servers do the same thing, but I can not be sure, but it is the only way links could NOT work on the same browsers, like 6.0 AOL and Mozilla.The second Fishin.com logo which is under the first logo on the top left does not work. IF the pages we link to are not in the top tier of the net then that explains why the links do not work, as the SERVER Companies do not save those pages. Thus when they are not attached to the general INTERNET the links do not work. Complaining to the SERVER might help, but the links are set up correctly because many of the users are getting the links...
Again the only explanation is that the pages in question are NOT ON THE SERVER.. like AOL, or IGLOU, or ACSALASKA or whatever and that is why they produce an error message otherwise the links work fine.
In other words AOL and others download the net and serve it from their own locations to save money and to save bandwidth. Obscure links or links seldom used may not show up when they download and produce a 404 message or error message.
I repeat I'm not a computer wizard, what I have noticed on this site is that when someone has a link in their post if it's not red then nothing happens when I try to click on it. No error message etc. just nothing happens.

Did not check many but the below links in the middle of the page do not work.
River Level below the dam
River level at bowling Green
On left side of page near the bottom the below link has had the address changed and needs to be updated.

Clicking on the link didn't work, but copy and paste it to the browser got me there, and the links on the page worked. Jesse page open ok with link there. Out date lake oxygen levels and temp dat as of 11 Aug. I went swimming there 21 August, and can tell ya surface might be in the 80's, but 6 feet down puts you in 65 degree temps for sure. I got the goose pimples to prove it.
