Saving private Ryan was a pretty manly movie and I did like castaway...WILSON...Tom selleck gotta love Quigley down under...Someone else I like to see in old westerns is Sam Elliot. And Val Kilmer...you can be my huckleberry..LOL
Yea...the previews look great, it's Eastwood man, how could it not be any good? This is on my list of movies to see. Another one of Eastwoods movies that I'm wanting to get the DVD to is titled "Unforgiven"...I think I have seen it befire but it's been a long time ago, it stars Eastwood and Gene Hackman and has one of the best bar shoot outs ever put on film according to the latest issue of Outdoor Life.
And then how about that "Outlaw Josey Wales" movie, the part where Eastwood says "Dyin' ain't much of a livin', boy." Classics indeed!
Now ya bringing back memories: The Good The bad and the ugly, pale rider, dirty harry, heartbreak ridge, hang em high. oh what about rawhide
I saw it last weekend and I think it's a great film. I'm a very tough critic, too. It has everything - drama, action, comedy.
I think about anything Eastwood is in, is a good movie...Hang'em High, Fist Full of Dollars...Great Films indeed....![]()
LOL, Chub, Chuck and I sit out in the boat and make qoutes from Josey Wales while we fish, lol.Yea...the previews look great, it's Eastwood man, how could it not be any good? Missed that on Tom Hanks, But that Castaway movie I had too watch it all to see what other crazy thing would happen. Did not like that one at all
I can't wait to see Gran Torino. Hopefully get the wife and go see it this coming weekend.
The old spaghetti westerns with Eastwood playing the hero and Italians playing Mexicans are my favorite movies ever. The Good the Bad and the Ugly(Lee Van Cleef was the best bad guy any western could ever have)...Once Upon a Time in the West...High Plains Drifter...A Fist Full of Dollars...
After Saving Private Ryan, Tom Hanks went on to do Band of Brothers and he donated over 8 million dollars to get the WWII monument finished and was instrumental in getting it accomplished. Yea in my book that makes him alright for me.
