    camping and fishing at Beaver

I read the Beaver Lake reports that you guys put on here and I have driven past the lake before, but was just checking out their campground. We are going camping soon and was wondering if anybody has ever stayed there. We are just looking for somewhere different to camp and wanted to get some thoughts if any of you have ever stayed there or know much about it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey brother,
I'm headed that way in the morning so I'll check it out for you.

Thanks Dod, I am going to be with my son squirrel hunting in Taylorsville tomorrow and I may ride on down that way myself and look around. Let me know what you find out in case we don't get down there.

    Tim,
I checked out the facilities today after fishing and the camp sites are $12 per night without electric and $15 with electric. The store opens at 1300hrs on Sunday the number is 502-839-4402.

We caught quite a few fish (over 20 for sure) the thumb got pretty raw. Nothing big but alot of action with a few slow moments. Mainly topwater all day with some on spinnerbaits and a jig fish as well. The place was PACKED!! Boats everywhere.
